The roses sold by Afriflora Sher are produced on farms located in Ethiopia. Afriflora Sher is world’s largest rose grower located near Lake Ziway, at 1650 metres above sea level and approximately 3 hours\u2019 drive from the capital Addis Ababa.
\nMany different types of rose are grown in metal greenhouses featuring a plastic deck. Sustainability has been one of Afriflora Sher\u2019s core values ever since it was founded in 2005.
\nWhen it comes to the environment, the company does its utmost to take advantage of natural conditions in the region.

Afriflora\u2019s farm in Ethiopia is the largest rose farm in the world. 3 to 4 million roses are transported to the Netherlands every day. They are then processed in Aalsmeer. Once processed, the roses are sold via auctions or are sold and delivered directly to customers.<\/p>\n
