Mother’s Day: different dates for celebration
Mother’s Day is an important day around the globe. Did you know that Mother’s Day is not celebrated at the same day everywhere? Many countries celebrate on different days:
- Second Sunday in February: Norway
- March 5: grandmother’s day in France
- March 14: UK
- First Sunday in May: Spain
- Second Sunday in May: Netherlands, Denmark, Germany, Finland, Greece, Italy, Croatia, Austria, Czechia,
- May 26: Poland
- May 30: France, Sweden
- August: 15 Belgium
