Dutch Flower Foundation donates again to Afriflora Sher hospital

Yesterday, at the Tradefair in Aalsmeer, we received a cheque for 10,000 euros from Marcel Zandvliet (chairman of the Dutch Flower Foundation), in the presence of Hans van Ree (CEO, The Floral Connection) and Stefan Verhoeff (General Director, Van Dijk Flora) on behalf of the Dutch Flower Foundation, in favor of the Sher hospital in Ziway, Ethiopia. On behalf of Sher Ethiopia, Mrs. Lulit Tadele Demissie (Director) received the cheque.

After a previous contribution of USD 50,000 from the Dutch Flower Foundation for a completely new X-ray machine, an addition has now been made in the form of a digital module to develop X-rays. The materials to develop the X-rays are no longer or hardly available in Ethiopia. Due to the investment in the digital module, manual development is no longer necessary, and the doctors can do their work faster and easier and help more patients.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Dutch Flower Foundation once again for their substantial contributions to our hospital.
