Harvesting

After a few weeks, the roses will be long enough and have enough buds, thus making them ideal for harvesting. The rose plants themselves remain in the greenhouse and will yield new roses. They will continue to produce new roses for between 5 and 10 years.

Employees only pick roses that are long enough and have suitable buds. They protect their arms against thorns by placing roses on a thick plastic sheet.
