When the plane arrives in Liege, the roses are transferred to a cooled lorry. The boxes remain on the aircraft pallets during this process. These pallets can be simply slid into the lorry, which means transshipment takes place very quickly. The journey to Aalsmeer takes approximately 3 hours.
